What?

The nature reserve "Polders of Kruibeke" is not only a controlled flood area, but also a Valhalla for sportsmen who want to enjoy nature in its purest form. During the beautiful but challenging course in the polders of Kruibeke, you will not only see various polder pearls - but you will also encounter extra entertainment in many places. A DJ in the middle of a nature reserve, or a cookie monster cheering you on? So you'll soon forget those muddy shoes and pound just that little bit harder against the wind.

You are already getting your money's worth with a choice of different distances, within the set course: 10.5K, 21K & 42K. If running a half or full marathon is a bridge too far for you, you can also participate in our walk! You walk for 21K through the same fantastic scenery with the same amenities and all at your own pace!

This year, for the first time, there is also the Jeppa kidsrun of 1K for the youngest runners!

After arriving, you get a fantastic goodie bag provided by all the strong sponsors, take a nice shower and fight off acidification at the connecting (by now legendary) afterparty.

Course + GPX

Participants of the Van Moer marathon run the 21K course twice. Participants of the half marathon run the 21K loop once. For the 10.5K, they will also stick to one lap.

The entire course is fully signposted and there are signalizers at key points.

In case of heavy rain, the course will be revisited, according to the condition of the off-road trails.

There are two aid stations on the course, equipped with Red Cross staff.

11:15 a.m.: Warm up and gather Jeppa Kidsrun

12:15 p.m.: Warm-up and gathering Half Marathon

12:30 p.m.: Half Marathon

2 p.m.: 10.5 kilometers

Stage ceremonies

Hours are still to be communicated.

No awards ceremony for the Jeppa kids run. But a beautiful medal and fun goodie bag for each child!

Practical info

Race number collection

To save time, you can pick up your chest number in advance. You can do so from Tuesday, Feb. 25, to Friday, Feb. 28, at Runners' lab Zwijndrecht during store opening hours.

All participants will receive a chest number. Without a chest number, no participation!

Picking up the chest number can also be done on the day itself between 08:00 - 14:00 at the supporters' village on the Scheldelei.

Attention!!! Van Moer Marathon of Kruibeke is a cupless event. This means that we do NOT provide cups at the supply stations.

You provide your own runner's backpack or drinking cup and take it with you on the course
You can purchase an ecocup at €3 at your registration or at the box office
You can purchase a Runners' lab softflask at €12 when you register or at the box office

Day registration

Day registration without a personalized chest number is possible only if tickets are still available.

Luggage

A free storage area is provided for your personal belongings with security.

Changing rooms, showers and sanitary facilities

Changing rooms and showers are provided. Restrooms are provided on and off the course.

Food and beverage outlets

Throughout the day, everyone can visit the food trucks for delicious (vegetarian) snacks. (Not included in your ticket)

The bar is open continuously in the heated tent. Vouchers are also valid during the after party.

A reusable cup in the supporters' village = 1 receipt.

The Transfer Boat

Smoothly cross the water with the ferry service. Get off at the "Kruibeke" stop. This is the best option if you are running the full marathon.

From Antwerp, Linkeroever, Kallo, Hemiksem or Lillo, you can easily reach the Van Moer Marathon of Kruibeke with the Waterbus. The Kruibeke stop is 200m from the event. Are you running the marathon? Then check the timetable of the ferry.

Are you coming by bike? This is an ideal warm-up for the Van Moer Marathon of Kruibeke.

Sufficient parking spaces will be provided at Parking 1: Scheldelei, 9150 Kruibeke.

The Car

There is limited parking on the Scheldelei.

The organization encourages everyone to carpool, take bicycles or public transportation!

Participation fee

The first 150 participants can enjoy the early-bird rate, so don't wait too long to register!

Jeppa Kidsrun

For years we have been getting the question whether it is also possible for children to participate in the Van Moer Marathon of Kruibeke. For safety reasons we could never allow this, until now.

We put our heads together and mapped out a fun, safe and defined course in the Kortbroek in Kruibeke. This is on the other side of the Scheldelei, or as they say in the vernacular "in the small polder". Perfect for our smallest runners. There are also several supervisors walking along

All children aged 6 to 12 are welcome to participate in this running race. Afterwards, everyone will receive a medal and fine goodie bag.

Still got some energy left? Afterwards, come and romp around on Jeppa Sport's amazing inflatables in the supporters' village*, while you wait for mom or dad or ... to finish the Van Moer Marathon of Kruibeke.

*In the supporters' village, each child must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

FAQ Jeppa Kidsrun

From what age may you participate in the Jeppa kidsrun?

You can participate in the Jeppa kidsrun from ages 6 and up to 12.

If you just turned 12 this year and would still like to participate you may do so as well.

As a parent, may I accompany my child?

We often get this question and understand it. Therefore, as a parent, you may walk with your child for guidance if you feel this is necessary.

There will also be adults from the organization who will run along and manage the Jeppa kidsrun.

Is there an award ceremony for the children?

There is no podium ceremony provided for the children. Everyone is a winner and everyone receives a beautiful medal and a fun goodie bag.

Is there children's entertainment provided?

More information will be shared soon.

What we can already reveal is that a fine warm-up will be provided. It will take place 15 minutes before the starting shot.

Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult in the supporter village at all times in addition to the Jeppa kidsrun.
