What?

Come taste the Rupel region while running or walking. During the second edition of the Runners' lab Rivierenland Run & Walk you will soon bump into the varied landscape that this region has to offer. Meadows, stream valleys, marshlands and of course the confluence of the Dijle, Nete and Zenne rivers.

During this running and walking event, we will show you all the pearls that this region, as yet unknown to the general public, has to offer.

50% of this event takes place on paved surfaces, 50% is unpaved.

Run

Come explore the Rupel Region while running during the Runners' lab Rivierenland Run.

You can choose from as many as four distances: 8, 11, 17 or 23K. Electronic timekeeping and online results will be provided for each distance.

Along the way, you can also take advantage of the supply station(s) with water, sports drinks, cake, energy bars....

During the 8 and 11K there is one refill, during the 17K there are two and during the 23K you can refuel three times.

To reduce waste, cups will not be available at the supply stations on the course.

Walk

You can also come explore the Rupel Region while walking at the Runners' lab Rivierenland Walk during one of three distances. You have a choice of 8, 11 or 17K.

Along the way, you can also take advantage of the supply station(s) with water, sports drinks, cake, energy bars....

During the 8 and 11K there is one supply provided, during the 17K there are two. In cold weather, soup will also be provided at the refreshment area and there will be sanitary facilities along the way.

To reduce waste, cups will not be available at the supply stations on the course.
