What?

The WALLS Linker Oevert Half Marathon, the race for all runners, should not be missed again in 2024.

Last year Linkeroever celebrated its 100th anniversary. We are very excited to take runners of any level through 101-year-old Left Bank on Sunday, Sept. 15. The options? There is a choice of a 10K, or 21K this year.

Trail

The course of this recreational race has been renewed, but the core remains: the skyline of Antwerp. While running (95% paved course) you almost always have a view of the Koekenstad. And that while running mainly through the green.

Start and finish are located at Thonetlaan, 2050 Antwerp near the pedestrian tunnel.

Pacers will be on hand to guide you to your dream time on the 21K.

Practical info

Day registration: Possible on site.

The start and finish is located the Thonetlaan in Antwerp, near the pedestrian tunnel.

Chest number collection:

Pick it up on the day at the start (the runners' village is located at the buoy meadow, Thonet Avenue)
Also possible to pick it up in the last days before the race at Runners' lab Zwijndrecht (Westpoort 68)

Stage Awards

The winners of each running distance will receive a voucher from Runners' lab.

Accessibility

The event will not close any streets. All of the Left Bank will remain accessible.

Parking

We provide bicycle parking but no dedicated car parking. We recommend using P+R Linkeroever, bicycle or public transportation. Check Slim naar Antwerpen for more information.

Showers

They are not present. A storage area for bags is there.

A few days before the race you will receive another email with the final practical info.

'Cupless' event

With Keep on Running, we are making the informed decision to no longer offer drinking cups at the supply stations. By no longer offering drinking cups, we want to reduce our carbon footprint.

So how do you address that?

Of course, there are alternatives. Bring your own reusable bottle, walk/run with a drinking backpack with built-in drinking system or use a collapsible drinking cup. You can fill these systems at the supply stations. A soft cup can be purchased at the event itself or the days before when picking up your race number.
