What?
Experience Kortrijk in a magical way during the Wintercorrida, the atmospheric end-of-year run through the city. Choose a 5 km or 9 km course and run along illuminated squares, cozy Christmas markets and iconic landmarks that shine extra bright in December.
The youngest sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth: during the LAGO KIDSRUN they run 500m or 1000m on the course next to Lago Kortrijk Meadow.
Make it extra cozy and come in a fun running outfit outfit or with pretty lights - that way we will make it a memorable street run together. ✨ At the event itself you can also purchase accessories.

During the Winter Corrida in Kortrijk, discover the city in a unique atmosphere: illuminated squares, cozy streets and iconic landmarks in the spotlight. Broeltorens by Night? Absolutely! A jeneverke at the supply? Let yourself be surprised!
You choose your own challenge: 5km or 9km?
It is a true street race over stones, cobblestones and the wharves. Streets are closed especially for this race. For specific shoe advice for this race, visit Runners' lab Roeselare.
Podium prizes are provided for the fastest 3 men and women. And after the finish? Then we will gladly send you towards the atmospheric markets and squares of Winter in Kortrijk to conclude pleasantly.
Also podium prizes for the fastest 3 kids in the 500m and 1000m.
Lago Kidsrun
During the Lago kidsruns children get the chance to shine on the course right through Nelson Mandela Park. They choose between 500m and 1000m and are loudly encouraged by parents and supporters along the side.
Meet some fun mascots as well as there will be a podium for the three fastest runners in both the 500m and the 1000m. But nobody goes home empty-handed: every child receives a beautiful medal and a goodie bagmade possible by Lago Weide Kortrijk, Capri-Sun and Runners'lab. 🎁✨
Let your kids shine in a fun running outfit or with lights and have an unforgettable evening together full of sports, fun and then be sure to descend to the Christmas markets of Kortrijk.
FAQ LAGO KIDSRUN
- Are parents allowed to run with you during the kids run?
We really want to organize a race during the kids run for once. Therefore, we ask for extra loud support on the side.
- From what age may children participate?
From 6 years old to 12 years old
- Is the stage by gender?
No, there are 3 winners (M/F/X) for the 500m and 3 winners (M/F/X) for the 1000m.
- Can the kids come dressed up too?
Of course! The crazier the better. As long as they can walk easily in their outfits.

- 6:30 p.m.: Start 500m Lago Kidsrun
- 6:50 p.m.: Start 1000m Lago Kidsrun
- 19:15: Award ceremony 500m + 1000m kids run
- 7:30 p.m.: Warm-up 9km
- 7:45 p.m.: Start 9km
- 8 p.m.: Warm-up 5km
- 20u10: Start 5km
- 21u00: Prijsuitreiking 5km & 9km
Practical information
Collection of chest numbers:
Runners' lab Roeselare during opening hours.
- Wednesday, Dec. 3: 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Thursday, December 4: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, December 5: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
At the event itself:
- Saturday, December 6, from 5:30 p.m.
- Day registration: Possible on site!
All of our events are cupless: That is, we do NOT provide cups at the supply stations.
So you provide your own runner's backpack or drinking cup and take it with you on the course. Don't have this yet? Then you can purchase an ecocup or softflask at your registration or on the day itself at the welcome desk.
Cancel tickets:
Until Sunday, 16/11/2025, you will receive a 75% refund of your paid amount. You can cancel by logging into your Keep on Running profile and clicking 'cancel' when registering for this event.
Time limit:
No time limit for the course. At 11 p.m. the finish line closes and it's time to head to the Christmas markets!
Showers, checkroom, storage area for sports bags:
A supervised storage area for your sports bags is available at Lago Kortrijk Weide.
Information about showers and locker rooms will be added later. Be sure not to leave your valuables unattended in the car or locker rooms.
Sanitary facilities are also available inside the sports hall. No sanitary facilities are provided on the course.
Food and beverage outlets:
The brasserie at Lago Kortrijk Weide will be open throughout the event and until 10 p.m.
After the run, also drop down to downtown Kortrijk for a plethora of food trucks and stalls.

A corrida is no ordinary street run: the streets are cleared of traffic so you can run smoothly and quickly through the city. During the Winter CorridaKortrijk, we take you on a unique course: past cozy Christmas markets, across illuminated squares and past iconic landmarks that make the city shine in December.
Since we walk at night, visibility is super important. Choose fluorescent colors, reflective pieces, add running lights or make it a party with an extra shiny outfit. This way, you not only look great, but you also walk safely.

💡At the event we will be selling some fun goodies to make your outfit extra shiny. On = off.
Participate as a team
Zin in een leuke teambuilding met je collega’s, of wil je als oud-leidingsploeg elkaar aanmoedigen om samen een nieuw loopdoel te halen? Schrijf je dan nu hier in als een groep. Groepsinschrijvingen zijn mogelijk tot 2 weken voor het event.

- The website works best in Google Chrome.
- Complete the steps and confirm your account via the link in email (often comes in spam).
- Only then go to the group registration link.
- Use your team's code or set a code as team captain.
- Fill out all your information and sign up for a team.
- Payment is before the start of the event via the team captain's profile.

- Extra recognizable in photos.
- All chest numbers are ready together at the reception desk, so only 1 person needs to come and pick them up.

Still can't join this event last minute? Find out below what you can do then:
Up to 21 days before the event, you will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee. You can cancel your ticket yourself via your Keep on Running profile.
Shorter than 21 days to the event? Keep on Running is not offering a resale platform for now. Look for a buyer/seller yourself within your circle of acquaintances or check out our community on Facebook.
