Over the past five editions of the BoslandTrail, numerous runners and walkers got to experience all the beauty that the Bosland has to offer. There is now even a street named after this event in the municipality of Pelt. Each participant who checks off five participations gets a tree planted there.
After a year's absence, some structural adjustments were made, most importantly a new start location. For this 6th edition, the start and finish will take place at De Soeverein in Lommel. This way the participants of the 50K can finally dive into the Lommel Sahara and - besides the beauty in Pelt and Hechtel-Eksel - also explore the most northern part of the Bosland.
This is organized by BoslandTrail in partnership with Keep on Running.

During this long-distance adventure of 50 or 100K, you trek or walk through dense forests and across streams.
In the open fields you meet yourself. The white sand dunes make you cringe, the moors make you reflect, and the flowing meadows humble you.
You run or hike from one landscape into another. You trail through the most beautiful Bosland nature reserves and can really say you've seen Bosland. By the way, did you know that Bosland has been recognized as one of the four national parks in Flanders since October 2023?
The 50K route next edition also goes wiser via the Lommel Sahara, the Heuvelse Heide, Dommelvallei, Hobos, Pijnven with Cycling through the Trees over Kattenbos.
The route then continues to the finish line, on a course similar to the route of the 100K.
After one last brisk passage through the Sahara Desert, your adventure is over and the finish village awaits.
For the first time, "The Waters" are part of the circulation, an area with an amazing history. The engineering of the waters was even declared a World Heritage Site last year.
Afterwards, water remains the guideline for quite a while as the Kempisch Kanaal leads the 100K towards Kolisbos, a wooded area in a stream valley. After crossing De Dommel, Hoksent awaits. Then the trail leads towards Hechtelse Duinen, after which the dense forests of the Pijnven, the ascent of Cycling through the Trees and Kattenbos await.
The Sint-Jozefsdal then leads the participants of the 100K back into Lommel.
