For 18 pieces
Ingredients
– 9 to 12 sheets of filo pastry
– 2 red apples
– 1 egg
– 6 tablespoons ricotta cheese
– 6 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese
– A little sugar
– Cinnamon
Preparation method:
– Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
– Wash the apple and cut it into slices.
– Make sure you have 3 to 4 sheets of filo pastry on top of each other. Cut rectangles out of the pastry. Make sure they are at least 1 cm wider and longer than the apple slices. This will allow you to fold them afterwards.
– Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top the filo dough with apple.
– Beat an egg. Brush the sides of the dough with some egg. Fold the edges inwards.
– Sprinkle with a little sugar and cinnamon.
– Bake the tarts for 10 minutes until golden brown.
– Mix the ricotta, cream cheese, and sugar.
– Remove the tarts from the oven. Top with some of the cream cheese mixture and a pinch of cinnamon.
